Just days before his first comedy special, the self-described "lover of humanity and doer of expensive things" (formerly known as DJ) HD stops by to discuss his abrupt public turn from music and eventually reemergence as a working comedian. He and Mr. Karver explore what it means to establish your value in a space, how to handle the potential of "looking foolish" to outsiders, and hearing from his friends that he would never make it. Oh, and the two inevitably stumble into the Will Smith of it all...it was the Monday after the slap heard round the world, what do you want from us?! lol
